On 11th May 2026, Ant will once again take on his annual personal challenge – the Coastal Challenge 4.1, a demanding stretch from Kennack Sands to Perranporth Beach.
This isn’t a one-off.
It’s something he commits to every year – pushing himself physically and mentally to raise funds for causes that matter.
This year, he’s chosen to support Meredith’s Mission.
Why this matters
Childhood cancer doesn’t end when treatment does.
For many families, the hardest part comes afterwards – navigating recovery, processing trauma, and trying to rebuild some sense of normal life.
That’s where Meredith’s Mission steps in.
From therapy support for children and parents, to funded family experiences and practical help when it’s needed most, the charity exists to walk alongside families during and beyond treatment.
Ant’s challenge directly supports this work.
The challenge itself
The Coastal Challenge 4.1 is no small feat.
Covering a rugged and exposed section of the Cornish coastline, the route demands:
- Endurance
- Mental resilience
- And a willingness to keep going when it gets tough
It’s unpredictable, physically demanding, and not something you just “turn up” for.
And that’s exactly the point.
Because in many ways, it reflects the journey so many families face — long, relentless, and requiring strength you didn’t know you had.
A personal commitment
What makes this even more meaningful is that this isn’t a one-off fundraiser.
Ant returns to this challenge year after year, using it as a way to give back and make a tangible difference.
